INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

For the health of your infant, always follow the instructions carefully. Incorrect use or preparation could damage your baby's health.

  1. Always wash your hands and clean everything used to prepare the feed.
  2. Sterilise bottle and teat by boiling in water for 10 minutes.
  3. Boil clean drinking water for 10 minutes; allow to cool down. Consult feeding table; pour correct quantity of previously boiled lukewarm water into sterilised bottle. 
  4. Add correct number of level scoops of C&G 1 powder. Level each scoop with back of clean knife. Do not press down.
  5. Close bottle and shake well until powder is completely dissolved. Put sterilised teat on bottle. Check temperature of feed inside of wrist. Use formula immediately after preperation. 

Warning: Prepare only one feed at a time. Never re-use unfinished feeds, discard it. Clean bottle & teat immediately after feeding. Keep the pack tightly closed in a cool dry place, not in the refrigerator. Use the content with in three weeks after opening.

100 ml of C&G Premium 1 = 90 ml warm water + 3 level scoops (14,4 g) powder. 1 level scoop = 4,8 g of powder.

Breast feeding is the best for your baby. C&G 1 is suitable from birth when babies are not breastfed and should only be used on the advice of independent persons having qualifications in medicine, nutrition or pharmacy, or other professionals responsible for maternal and childcare.

Cow & Gate 1 is a nutritionally complete whey based infant milk formula suitable from birth onwards. It can be used if baby is not being breastfed.

From the age of six months, infants should receive complementary food in addition to milk to fulfill their specific growth & development needs, as advised by a qualified healthcare professional. After 6 months it is recommended to gradually substitute Cow & Gate 1 with Cow & Gate 2.
